Our all-weather indoor Barn is one of the many enrichment spaces enjoyed by dogs staying with us for Day Retreats & Overnight Retreats.

 

We also offer exclusive Barn Retreat Sessions, giving owners and pet professionals the opportunity to enjoy the space privately.

Who is it for?

Following changes to Hounds Retreat, including our boarding facilities and dedicated spaces for rescue and nervous dogs, Barn Retreat Sessions are now designed for sighthounds and small to medium-sized breeds.

Our Ethos

At Hounds Retreat, we believe dogs learn best through positive reinforcement &  patience.

To ensure the Barn remains a safe and enjoyable space for every dog, prong collars, choke chains and other aversive training methods are not permitted during Barn Retreat Sessions.

Tuesday – Sunday

9:00 am – 5:00 pm

 Prices

1–2 dogs: £15 per hour

3–4 dogs: £20 per hour

5–6 dogs: £25 per hour

Barn Session Guidelines

✓ Dogs must be 12 months of age or older.

✓ Dogs must be fully vaccinated.

✓ Dogs must remain under the control of their owner or handler at all times.

✓ Owners are responsible for their dog(s), themselves and anyone accompanying them throughout the session.

✓ Please arrive and leave within your allocated booking time.

✓ Please leave the Barn clean and tidy and dispose of dog waste in the bins provided.

✓ Dogs showing signs of illness or a contagious condition must not attend.

✓ Hounds Retreat reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking where we believe the session is unsuitable or may compromise the safety and welfare of our boarding guests, rescue dogs, staff or other visitors.

✓ Use of the Barn is entirely at your own risk. Hounds Retreat accepts no responsibility for injury, loss or damage to people, dogs or personal belongings while using the facilities.

Full T&C will be signed on day of arrival 

How to Book

Please email a copy or  photo of your dog's vaccination card & your contact details to: barnretreat26@gmail.com

Once we've received it, we'll arrange your Barn Retreat Session by text message and confirm a suitable date and time.

If you've already sent us your dog's vaccination records, there's no need to send them again. Simply text us with the day(s) and time(s) you'd like to book, and we'll get back to you with availability.
